Falkland Islands Penguins

Near Sparrow Cove is a large colony of Gentoo Penguins with a few King Penguins. 

Magellanic Penguins in Otway Sound

Otway Sound is in Patagonia near Punta Arenas, Chile. A census in 2001-2002 found nearly 11,000 penguins nesting over a large area.

Near the Otway Sound penguins we saw these Rheas which the locals call Magellanic Ostriches.
